Our final effort to try and convince a shady producer, that ultimately ripped us off, that we had what it took to rock people's socks off. We recorded this one at a small studio in Ashland, OR that gave us a pretty good deal because the owner was a fan. "Follow Me" was recorded in Portland, OR for a compilation record that never happened. We got a free studio recording out of it regardless. In the end, the shady producer wasn't impressed and we told him to fuck off a little too late. A year later, Half Rack ended.

The day I left Southern Oregon, I was listening to a local radio station. During a break, a caller called in to request a song. He requested "Follow Me" . Then the DJ told him that Half Rack had broke up. The caller was sad to hear the news, then they played the song. The next time I visited Southern Oregon, about 6 months later, I turned on a local radio station. "Follow Me" was playing. True story.
